Warranties and liability
LegacySave is provided on an "as is" and "as available" basis. To the fullest extent the law permits, we disclaim implied warranties of merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, and non-infringement. We do not warrant that the service will be uninterrupted, free from errors, immune to security incidents, or reachable during a regional network outage. Strong measures against those risks are in place (described in the Privacy Policy). A warranty is a different thing from an effort.
To the maximum extent the law permits, LegacySave is not liable for indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, or for lost profits, lost data, government fines, visa consequences, or reputational harm arising from your use of the service, even where we were told the damage was possible. Our total liability to you for any claim arising from these terms or the service is capped at the greater of (a) what you paid us in the 12 months before the claim arose, or (b) AED 373.
Plain version
We build this carefully. If a reminder fails, a scan comes back unreadable, an outage costs you a Saturday, or a bug corrupts a record, our financial exposure to you is capped at that number. Nothing here strips out a consumer right that local law will not let us strip out. Nothing removes liability for death or personal injury caused by our negligence, for fraud, or for anything else the law flatly forbids us to exclude.
